Election Process
The Board members serve staggered four- year terms. Elections are held during the General Election on the first Tuesday in November on even- numbered years.
In 2021, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved moving the District's elections from odd - to even- numbered years. Current terms were extended by one year to accommodate this change.
