Lance Pierson graduated from Biola University in La Mirada, California where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and his Teaching Credential.  He was an assistant coach of the school’s baseball team and the head coach for a season before moving on to a full-time teaching career.

Growing up, he worked in his father’s floor covering business.  While in college, he began working in the hotel industry as a bellman, eventually worked his way up to the Food and Beverage controller for the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel.  

He has been a teacher for over 30 years, primarily teaching Mathematics.  He is currently working at Quartz Hill High School, where he has taught for nearly 20 years.  Lance also previously served as the Quartz Hill High School Athletic Director.

Lance has been active in the local community by serving on the Quartz Hill Town Council and the Student Site Council for both Quartz Hill High School and Lancaster High School.  He has been a long time coach for various sports around the Antelope Valley.
